The Bilderbergers Conference in Europe is the counterpart of the C.F.R. in America.
The chairman of this European Secret Society was, until recently, none other than the consort of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, Prince Bernhard. Unfortunately for him, Prince Bernhard was caught out in the Lockheed Aircraft Scandal, and because of American pressure was dropped from his position. This Conference is held to strengthen West European/American relations.
The newspaper describes their latest meeting (the 25th) of the Group, in April 1977:
"West German Chancellor, Helmut Schmidt, and former U.S. Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger are among more than 100 leading figures assembling in Britain this weekend for a three day conference, where they can exchange ideas without fear of being quoted by name - the occasion is the Bilderbergers Conference."

"Participants this year are expected to include Mr Dennis Healey, the British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Dr Kissinger, Mr Schmidt, the French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, and the Chase Manhattan Bank Chairman, Mr David Rockefeller.
N.B.Nearly 3/4 of the American participants are members of the powerful Council on Foreign Relations which advises on United States foreign policy.
Conference discussions are always kept secret, and critics allege that it is a conspiracy by those in power to stay in power.
The 1976 Conference was cancelled, but this year, the Prince (Bernhard) is to be replaced for the first time by Lord Home, the former British Prime Minister."
