(vi)PHILADELPHIA - THE SIXTH CHURCH AGE. Started about 1900.

In 1904, under a man called Evan Roberts, the Welsh revival broke out. People fell in the streets and fields under the power of God.

Even down in the bowels of the earth in the Welsh coal mines, men prayed and openly worshipped God.

In Azuza Street, Los Angeles, under the Spirit of God's influence, an old man named Seymour and his colleagues experienced a spiritual power explosion and miracles of God again began to take place.

'I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it, for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.' *Ref.41.

People from all walks of life WHO WERE WILLING experienced this new burst of power.

Some seed bride people received it.

Some seed bride people rejected it, crying 'Not for today.'

Some weed prostitute people received it.

Some weed prostitute people did not receive it, crying 'It doesn't fit in with our established 'weed' dogma!'

The mystery code sums up this period in these words:

'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchantman seeking goodly pearls.

Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.' *Ref.42.

God's Power Returns Again

People who began to move in this supernatural realm with the Spirit of God were initially viewed with suspicion, and in many cases ostracised.

My personal testimony is that when we were living in the Pacific Island of Western Samoa, in the early 1960's, 3000 souls turned to Christ through a supernatural outpouring of God's power.

We wrote back to New Zealand rejoicing over these wonderful happenings, and received a reply saying:

'Be careful. It may be the devil.'

Wonderful. Satan apparently had become an evangelist for the Lord and was winning souls for Jesus.

The Charismatic Movement was raised up at this time, and the Pentecostals increased numerically.

(vii) LAODICEA - THE SEVENTH CHURCH AGE. Started about 1970.

Things were humming along well. Charismatics and Pentecostals were all living on a high.

Souls were being saved by the thousands.

Bodies were being healed by the thousands.

Gifts of God's Holy Spirit were in evidence.

The key subject in many cases then moved from salvation - to power.

Gradually, David Wilkerson's warning came to pass.

We moved into a period of a Christless Pentecost.

Jesus made it clear that the work of God's Holy Spirit was to magnify and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.

Number 3 exalts Number 2, who exalts Number 1, in the tri-unity.

'But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.' *Ref.43.

And again,

'Howbeit, when he the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth, FOR HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF....' *Ref.44. (Emphasis added.)

The sad thing about this period is that the folk who called themselves believers in the truth, did the same things they had always done in their services, but little or nothing happened anymore.

Like Samson years before;

'And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.' *Ref.45

A description of this final church age, is spelled out for us in quite harsh, yet clear terms.

'I know thy works, that thou art neither hot nor cold,. I would thou wert hot or cold.

So then, because thou art LUKEWARM and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.' *Ref.46 (Emphasis added.)

Have you ever been served up a lukewarm cup of tea or coffee? When your host turns the other way, you normally pull a face and utter a modern colloquialism:

'YUK'

This apparently is how the Lord feels about the Christian situation on earth right now at the end of the 1980's.

'Modern Christianity is', to quote the understatement of the year, 'not in very good shape.'

I laughed when an acquaintance of mine in New Mexico in the year 1988 spoke these words.

'The body of Christ is an emaciated invalid lying in bed with a 200 lb set of lips. It has developed out of all proportion, and it is hard to change.

Just because the lips are well-developed, it doesn't mean that what is coming out of them is necessarily right.'

This statement is harsh, yet partially true of some sectors, yet not all of the body of Christ.

A challenge to all who are concerned about the weaknesses in the work of the Lord, would involve a thorough reading of Isaiah Chapter 1, at this point, with emphasis on verses 18-20, showing again the great mercy of the Lord.

Three heresies have crept into sections of the seed bride group, which I will outline herewith.

No. 1 Heresy - Kingdom now

Taken to extremes, this teaching implies that the Christians are now doing the work that we know, Biblically speaking, should be done by Jesus when He comes the second time.

Some of these folk even deny that He is coming a second time.

How sad.

When Jesus said these words 'The Kingdom of God is within you', He was not lying. All born again Christians represent the kingdom of God on earth, but the true work of the kingdom will culminate at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Reconstructionism

These people teach that the believers are going to move into politics and positions of responsibility to such a degree, that society in general will become subject to the laws of God and therefore, the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is almost irrelevant. I personally, find the latter part of this teaching dishonouring to the Word of God.

In saying this, I believe we still need to infiltrate society as 'salt'. Every town and sector needs fifth column infiltration.

You ask me 'Do you think Christians should get involved in politics, school committees etc, etc.?'

Answer: 'Only if you are a super strong believer and feel genuinely called of God to do so, otherwise your Christian life will suffer.'

Hear the words of Paul.

'No man that warreth, entangleth himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.' *Ref. 47.

Imagine being in the army. The battalion is just moving into battle, and they ask where you are.

The answer is given, 'I'm sorry, Sergeant. He is not available at the moment. He is running a hamburger stall in the city.'

If you wish to get involved,

do it as Jesus did - be salty

do it as Paul did - be salty

We agree that 'Kingdom Now' taken in correct perspective applies only to the influence of born-again believers in the community.

The tunnel vision of some Christians implies that their particular church or belief is the only way.

We believe that Christians who are true followers of Jesus Christ will permeate their communities with the beautiful concept of living Christianity, bearing in mind at all times that it is the Lord Jesus Christ and His return that will bring the fullness of the Kingdom to this earth.

No. 2 Heresy - Hyper Faith. (Name it and claim it.)

This teaching was born of a genuine desire to see God move supernaturally once again.

Travelling through South East Asia and other parts of the world, my wife and I have met many folk who believe this doctrine and have gone to extremes with it. This has resulted in a loss of fellowship which was previously enjoyed with other believers.

Like the rest of us, these dear deceived people know that the Lord is not moving miraculously at this time and like us, they wish he would, but unlike us, they have latched onto a:

'Gnostic secret' that appears to assist God in working supernaturally, once again, even sometimes against His will.

It is a wink, wink, nod, nod situation. 'We 'know' something. It's a pity you haven't learned the secret yet.'

As one who has been out soul-winning for Christ for over 20 years, I watch the proponents of this gnostic (secret knowledge) sect continue on working for the Lord in their own way yet supposing all the time that they are working by

'Faith'

This gnostic secret however, is not true faith. It is a Satanic deception, which centres around the 'ego', or 'self'.

Springing from the New Age teachers, this thing has permeated sections of Christianity who should have known better.

Self realization

Self forgiveness

Self acceptance

Self worth

Self love

Success

Prosperity etc etc.

I do not read anywhere in the Scriptures, that either Jesus, Paul or any of the early Christians were into 'self' in any way whatsoever.

Which of these was it who said:

'It is no longer I that live, but Christ that liveth in me'? (Based on Galatians 2:20.)

Here is a statement by a missionary who regularly visits rich and poor countries. Whilst in an extremely poor area, he murmurs; 'Where are the faith teachers?'

That question really sums up what I am trying to say. In truth, these dear brothers and sisters of ours, do not see any more souls saved or bodies healed, or miracles take place, than we do.

Sadly, when their 'faith prayers' do not succeed, in some cases, they blame the poor person who asked for their prayer as:

- Not having enough faith

- This leads to guilt and despair.

- This leads to pulling out of Christianity altogether.

It is a very dangerous doctrine indeed.

In saying all this, I recognise that many of the 'faith' churches are doing a tremendous job in the field of evangelism and I publicly state that this thrills me.

When the true revival hits the earth, we will all become one again because real things will happen to real people.

Heresy No. 3 - DON'T GO TO CHURCH

All over the country in New Zealand, and also around the world, masses are pulling out of churches and spending their Sundays for themselves.

You ask them why and they say:

1. The church has nothing to offer me.

2. I don't get much fellowship there anyway.

3. The sermons are boring.

4. They sing too long.

5. I get more time with my family now.

6. I get my fellowship elsewhere.

Do you? Do you really? Come on - look me in the eye.

God does not tell lies, nor give fruitless advice.

'Fellowship MUCH MORE as you see the day approaching' (Based on Hebrews 10:25.) i.e. the second-coming of Jesus. (Emphasis added.)

'Comfort one another with these words.' *Ref 48

Which words? 'Christ is coming'. How can you do that if you don't fellowship?

My son Andy said to me, 'Dad, people criticize the church, but the Word of God says,

'Christ loved the church.' ' *Ref 49

You ask me, 'Barry, do you attend church when you return home after your tiring missions?'

Answer 'Yes.'

Why? 'Because I am instructed 'Exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the DECEITFULNESS OF SIN.' ' *Ref.50. (Emphasis added.)

Traps for Young Church Dodgers

1. You say you have made alternative plans and fellowship in private homes.
- Do you do this regularly and at least once on the Lord's day?

2. By speaking against the church, where do you send your new converts to Christ that you are continually out winning with all this spare time on your hands - to a fellowship?

3. Don't you feel a barrier when you meet one of your old friends who still attends a born again 'church?'

4. Do you realize that as far as the other Christians in your town or area are concerned, you may as well be dead?'

They never see you. Why, even the early Christians in the initial seed bride church still met in the 'temple' and then from house to house.

They knew the wisdom in keeping up 'contacts'.

You've been conned dear one.
  (a) Take your Sunday mornings off, go on.
  (b) Lie in bed. Think of us fellowshipping around Jesus all together as He commanded.
  (c) Go to the beach in the afternoon. Don't bother honouring the Lord's day. It's all part of the same package of deception which leads to rebellion.
  (d) Try and stop others going to church too. It will make you feel a great deal better.

By the way, you are also setting a lifelong and eternal pattern for your children and grand-children to follow. Are you happy with that?

I could never understand the following scriptures until recently. 'The love of many will wax cold.' *Ref.51.

'For there shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible,

- they shall deceive the very elect.' *Ref.52.

'But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.' *Ref.53.

If you are out of the fire, you are a lone brand, and will soon go out. You know that is what is happening to you now.

Your Bible is scarcely used,

The TV knob knows your fingers well,

You're on the skids if the truth were known.

'Let God be true and every man a liar.' *Ref.54.

The seventh church age thinks it is all right, but listen to God's over-view.

'Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing, and knoweth not that thou art

wretched

miserable

poor

blind and

naked.

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire.' *Ref.55.

Listen, brother or sister in Christ. Ask the Lord for another chance.

Say Lord, let me go through the fire if necessary, but don't cast me away.

Now I have some really great news for genuine believers who come out from either camp, in a genuine search for reality.

(a) The seed bride or

(b) The weed prostitute

Time Running Out for the Weed Prostitute Group

First of all, let us make a STATEMENT: God does not intend to let the weed prostitute system continue on much longer. It has done more than enough damage.

If you talk to some of the members about the scandals in the system, they reply with their deluded minds working overtime:

'This shows you the supernatural protection afforded our group. It stands firm in spite of the many scandals.' - Remember to read David Yallop's book 'In God's Name'.

I have news for all these deceived ones, and it is all bad.

The Weed Prostitute is approaching high noon. It's destruction is not only assured, but predicted in very precise detail.

Church Union

This will continue to take place, as those who have any remaining links with or respect for the weed prostitute system, will ultimately 'go home to mother.'

Seed Bride Infiltrated

As we have already learnt, the genuine believers who have continued on meeting together and worshipping the Lord throughout the ages, are no longer being openly persecuted by the weed prostitute system.

This is a dangerous situation.

Come in to my parlour said the spider to the fly.

STATEMENT: Shortly, as the media is making clear, the groups who split away from the weed prostitute will link back again in union with her. - Remember the angel binds them together ready for burning; then comes the judgement of God.

PROPHECY: 'And there came one of the angels which had the seven vials and talked with me, saying unto me

Come hither and I will show unto thee the JUDGEMENT of the GREAT WHORE that sitteth upon many waters.' *Ref.56. (Emphasis added.)

INTERPRETATION: The waters in prophetic terms, refer to the nations of the earth.

STATEMENT: The whore, or prostitute is identified clearly.

PROPHECY: 'So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy having seven heads and ten horns.' *Ref 57

INTERPRETATION: The woman is the mother in charge of the weed prostitute group. In this scene, she is pictured riding a scarlet coloured beast. This is the new European Community leader, a political man influenced greatly by religion, (dominated may be a better word.)

PROPHECY: 'And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet coloured, decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.' *Ref 58

INTERPRETATION: The purple is the colour chosen for the Bishop of Rome. The scarlet coats trimmed with ermine are worn by the college of cardinals. The gold, precious stones and pearls speak of the immense wealth of the system, much of it given by the poor. The golden cup full of abominations reveals the systems' absolutely disgusting behaviour over the centuries, culminating in the death of one of their leaders who showing a rare display of morality, was about to unmask the Vatican Bank laundering fraud.

The filthiness of her fornication comes about through the twin evil practices of:

(a) The confessional

(b) The non-married status of the priests.

STATEMENT: The history of the weed prostitute system has been fairly cleverly covered up or played down, to this point in time.

Filth in the Weed System

During the period known as 'The rule of the Harlots' the following filth took place.

The same spirit prevails today, yet I do not wish to speak any more along these lines.

PROPHECY: 'And upon her forehead was a name written. BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.' *Ref 59.

INTERPRETATION: Notice the weed prostitute system is at this point referred to not as a 'woman' but a 'mother'. This means that she must have 'children.'

That is all who join together with her in the near future to form a:

SUPER-WORLD CHURCH including:

1. The weed prostitute mother system,

2. Approximately 5 major protestant groups,

3. Eastern religions,

4. The church of satan,

5. The New Age Movement.

STATEMENT: This may not appear possible, but behind the scenes, all is being prepared.

PROPHECY: 'And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs ofJesus.' *Ref.60.

INTERPRETATION: We have read already of the countless souls who were sacrificed to this 'monster: or iniquity', the weed prostitute system.

It is stated that in the 30 years between 1540-1570, no fewer than 900,000 believers in Christ were put to death in a war of extermination.

The weed sought to destroy the seed.

Strange you will agree.

I can sit here writing all this and you can sit reading it and not feel anything.

Neither you nor I knew these people, yet they all had families and friends, they all felt pain, horror and fear when the so-called servants of God, dragged them from their homes to the torture dungeons.

Can't you hear their screams and piteous cries for help?

Have any of the holy and infallible leaders, bishops or even laymen in the weed prostitute system ever confessed to this or apologized for it?

NO!

Has God forgotten it?

NO!

Can we believers forget them and put their miseries out from our minds?

NO! NO! NO!

Can we forgive the perpetrators of these crimes?

By God's love and grace we can, but God will not.

Thus it is stated in the prophets.

Headquarters of Evil System Identified

To this point, you may be hoping desperately that we have given a wrong interpretation of all this.

Let us now see where the system is based.

PROPHECY: 'And here is the mind which hath wisdom, the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.' *Ref 61.

In this book of future events, we can't afford to go around making false and unsustainable claims, so let us now read the second part of this prophecy.

'And the woman which thou sawest, is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.' *Ref.62.

INTERPRETATION: There are many cities in the world with seven mountains or hills; some of which are Tokyo, Japan - Bonn, West Germany (the hills here are away from the city) - Auckland, New Zealand - even Sydney, Australia; yet none of the aforementioned fits the conditions.

We are looking then, for a city which has:

  (a) Seven mountains or hills

  (b) A system which dominates many nations from that geographical area.

There is only one city, and the vast majority of students agree that it would naturally refer to the city of Rome. Within Rome however, is another state.

The Vatican State is religious, yet more importantly, very political.

End time prophecy makes it clear that these two will go together, hand in hand.

1. One World Government - controlled by a man named as Antichrist.

2. One World Religion - controlled by a man named as the False Prophet.

NOTES

1. Religion will dominate politics. i.e. The prostitute woman (world church) rides on the beast (E.C. Leader).

2. The E.C. and leader become tired of religious interference and destroy the religious system.

'And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.' *Ref.63.

3. You may ask why this must take place in this order.

'For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will and to agree and give their kingdom unto the beast until the words of God shall be fulfilled.' *Ref 64.

WHAT FURTHER PROOF DO WE NEED? LET'S NOT BE STUBBORN

4. The whole picture presented here therefore is not open for conjecture.

We have made clear statements herewith:

NO ANGER - NO MALICE - NO EMOTION - NO DOUBT

- and a CONFIDENCE in the veracity of God's Word.

At this point, it could well appear that I as an individual am against one group, and for another group.

That is not the point. I, as a committed Christian am:

FOR GOD and HIS PRECIOUS WORD.
